Winnipeg Harvest celebrates Kids Who Care!!!
The Kids Who Care program recognizes youth in our community who have made an extraordinary effort to donate time, food and/or money to Winnipeg Harvest. The Kids Who Care award is presented to individual youth based on donations under the following criteria:
Age Pounds Volunteer Hours Money
0-5yrs 5 lbs 5 $5
6-12yrs 10 lbs 10 $10
13-15yrs 20 lbs 20 $20
16-17yrs 30 lbs 30 $30
Some exceptions:
- Volunteer hours required for faith or school programs
- Donations of time/money/food through volunteer groups
Due to the amazing number of youth who volunteer with us through faith groups, school groups, boys and girls clubs, after school programs etc., we are unable to recognize everyone with a Kids Who Care award. We thank you all for your contributions, and feel fortunate to have such an amazing amount of support!
