What is Food Cycle 2009
In partnership with Manitoba Pork Council and proudly supported by Bikes & Beyond and Certigard, Ken Livingstone (local bike enthusiast & avid Harvest supporter), Food Cycle 2009 is a fundraising bike tour through Manitoba.
Food Cycle 2009 will raise awareness, food and funds for registered Manitoba food banks and the Manitoba Association of Food Banks.
Food Cycle 2009 takes place Friday, May 22nd to Sunday, June 7th, 2009 on the Trans Canada Trail, commencing on the western edge of the Manitoba portion, following the trail - over 1286 Kms - to the Manitoba/Ontario border. (click here for the itinerary)
